Microfiltration ensures waste water free fish-farming
Is waste water free fish farming possible?
Yes, microfiltration ensures the effluent free production even in the field of fish farming. With this innovative waste water recycling technology it is indeed possible to grow fish for every-day-consumption in any location of the world without the creation of a single drop of waste water.
This was proven for the first time in a pilot plant in Germany. This pilot plant was developed by the engineering company BUSSE GmbH in cooperation with the Federal Environmental Agency supported by the foundation Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt DBU.
This ground braking development marks the beginning of a new era in environmental and water protection.
Now it is possible to produce fish without the consumption of great amounts of fresh drinking quality water and without the disposal of any kind of waste.
Furthermore the use of microfiltration ensures a very high quality of water in the fish farming basins and therefore it offers much better living conditions for the fish than a common system could provide. The recycled water is shiny and clear because it is virtually free of settlements and bacteria.
This provides for an efficient operation of aquaculture farms, that meets all requirements for breeding, raising and production for various species, is now possible.
The use of antibiotics is no longer necessary for the health of the animals when a fish farm uses a waste water recycling system with microfiltration. |
